Daughter, write down what I say
"Peace and safety. Peace and safety you say. No harm can come to us. See, the land is flourishing, ripe with grain. The harvest is immense; we are blessed! But you fail to look up and behold the rumbling clouds sweeping across the sky. You don't see what the dark mass brings. You are being overtaken, and yet you say the sun is shining on us. You say the days of plenty are here. But all that you have is about to be ripped from your hands, the very hands which take and take, never giving. The very lips which declare the bounty are about to be silenced. For I, the Lord God of Israel, am demanding restitution.
The day of judgment is upon you! Vengeance is Mine! I will repay! For My commands have been broken, and you have not brought Me the acceptable sacrifice. Truth has been blown away like clouds carried by wind. The widows and orphans are left to fend for themselves. The poor are looked down on and trampled by your feet. Evil rages and the people laugh. Those who despise Me and desecrate My name are raised up on pedestals for all to worship. Enough is enough! It is time to pay the fiddler.
Judgment is upon you, and what do you have to offer in payment? The only sacrifice acceptable before Me you have pushed aside and ignored. He has been brought low in the eyes of all who see themselves as good. There is only One who is good, yet you feebly attempt to bring Me your harvest sacrifice of fruits and vegetables. This is unacceptable! I gave My sacrifice; My blood was shed for you, and without blood there is no forgiveness of sin. But you have foolishly thought I would forgive you for your abominable acts on grounds that you declare. This is an abomination!
Because you have disregarded My blood and brought before Me your filthy garments cleaned by your works of the flesh, your sentence has been given. This day I will give you ashes for joy and dust for beauty. I will destroy all the works of your hands. Wail and weep all you children of the earth. Behold, the day of Justice! This I have spoken!"
